About This Project
THE BISON POCKET LOCKET – fashioned after a pocket watch, as a wedding gift from the bride to the groom
Created in sterling silver, copper, brass and steel -completely hand fabricated, one of a kind
The bison on the front exterior were designed in response to a piece of original artwork created by the client. The appliquéd words on the back panel “wherever we roam” were created in the style of the client’s handwriting.
The spring mechanisms in both the hinge and the push-down closure are completely handmade. When pushing the button, the vessel pops open to reveal two photographs inside of the bride and groom, and of the groom’s late mother.
One of a kind, never to be repeated.
