About This Project
The gemstone itself was the inspiration for this piece. I wanted to design the setting so that it could highlight the cabochon shape and the natural edge along the top of the cab. The setting and the chain are made from 100% recycled sterling silver, and every element is handmade. The piercing design on the back of the setting references the composition of the gemstone itself. My hope is that the natural elements and beauty therein are both captured and interpreted in this piece. ~GMA
