Two years after I made The Lion, The Monkey and The Airplane locket, my clients asked me to add a panel to the piece to include their new baby girl, Emmeline. Each panel of the locket featured the child’s birthstone, and metal work to depict the child’s infant nursery theme. Emmeline’s theme – The Princess and the Pea. So, her panel includes a tiara, a layer of mattresses, and an emerald “pea.”
